The Gravell family is very close to my heart & this shoot produced so many precious moments that I can’t help posting a few more than I planned to! Cathy recently turned two & little brother Quintin is three months new & it’s just amazing to see how close they already are. Shawn & Hannelize, I absolutely love capturing your beautiful family. This was really one of the most exciting shoots I’ve done so far! Fernando contacted me two days before their couple shoot to tell me he was planning to ask Taime to marry him during the shoot! How exciting, right?! These two were absolute naturals in front of the camera & their love for each other radiates through all these images!
Oh, and of course she said yes & it was really like a scene out of a movie with beautiful Table mountain as their backdrop.

I met the Laljit family on Bloubergstrand for some beach family photos. What a beautiful little family! Mom Carmen is clearly adored by dad Quintin & their two boys Josh & Caleb. And how cute are these two little brothers? And definitely the most well behaved little boys I have met in a long time.( I hope you got those chocolate milkshakes that mom was promising!) I had a lovely morning with you!

Baby Emmelize made her arrival on the 14th of November and I went to capture her when she was ten days new! I never grow tired of capturing the miracle of the journey from ‘bump to baby’! I recently met up with a few lovely new moms who’s newborns are all between six to nine weeks old. They meet up once a week to have some fun & share their stories & tips with each other. I think it’s such a wonderful idea! Surely the start of life-long friendships not only for the moms,but also for the little ones.(Baby Emily is really spoilt for choice when it comes to a potential future boyfriend between the three boys Quintin,Mason-Locke & Alexander!)
